Muses Photo Review

The bad news - the weather was so terrible on Thursday night that we were unable to ride until Friday.  The good news - two days of celebrating being a Muse!  And like any good Muse, we didn't let the rain ruin our day!!  (Next post will have some extra photos and parade day photos too!).

We started our day Thursday with beignets, cafe au laits, and mimosas at my friend Katherine's house where we were each having our make-up applied.  Isn't girly time just the best!!!  After getting all dolled up, we grabbed a cab and headed on over to our luncheon.

Here are some photos from our float luncheon at Galatoire's.

After our luncheon, which is where we were when we found out the parade was going to be postponed, we decided to save our headdresses for Friday and head to Fifi Mahoney's (an amazing wig and makeup shop in the Quarter) to buy fabulous pink wigs.  Everyone went for a different style.  Mine was the "Revlon" wig.

The best part about Fifi's is that they fit your wig for you!!  What do you think about the Revlon?

After Fifi's, we went over to the Piano Bar at Pat O's.

From Pat O's we went over to Cat's Meow and sang "It's Raining Men" the Krewe's new song of the year.  Our hubbies and friends met up with us at Razzoo's where we enjoyed a little stage time.

We went for some drinks and dinner at Lucy's Bar and Grill and then headed over to the post-party.  And like every year, I have no energy by the time we get to the post-party and completely poop out.  We didn't stay too long and we missed the B-52s which was kind of a bummer.  But I wouldn't change a minute of our fabulously Muses day.

As soon as I can upload the rest of my pics, I'll add a post about the parade!!!
