What a Huge Success!!

I cannot begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our weekend in Minneapolis.  We loved the Thursday farmer's market downtown, we loved dinner at Bar La Grassa, we loved going to the Twins game, but most of all we loved spending time with our family.

To be able to come together and celebrate Sophia's life was so incredibly special.  Swing for Sophia, a benefit for Faith's Lodge, was an incredible success!  While the total has not been fully tallied, by the end of the evening, it was announced that enough money had been raised to name a room at the lodge in Sophia's honor!!!  It was such an incredibly touching and heart warming event, and I couldn't have been prouder to be anywhere else in the world than at the first annual Swing for Sophia.

Beautiful photographs of Sophia and her family greeted you at the entrance to the clubhouse

Sophia's aunts and Anna, the executive director of Faith's Lodge, volunteered at the sign-in table

We were so excited to arrive and see everyone!

Including the newest addition to the family, Bennett!

Sophia's family wore golf shirts with the event's logo on them

And there were Swing for Sophia water bottles

The Mars Co. was the event sponsor, so you know what that means...

M&Ms!!  Aren't these centerpieces precious!!!

Sophia's mommy and her aunts

Who's ready for some golf?

Mark and Barn were!

And so were these guys!

Mark's foursome - Kyle, Mark, Barn, and Gabe

Dan joins the guys for a put and a picture

After the tournament, we all enjoyed a lovely dinner where the winner of the raffle was announced.  The prize?  An Ipad.  The winner?  MARK!!!!!  He was so excited!!!

We want to thank Alli, Dan, and little Jack for allowing us to be a part of this beautiful day.

We know that every family who stays in the Sophia Rebbecca Lenmark room at Faith's Lodge will be touched by their strength, grace, and love.
