It's my birthday eve and we're all moved into our new house! That's the best gift ever!! We don't have Internet access yet, so I'm posting from my phone. I hope you all had a spooky and spectacular Halloween!!! We had an amazing time watching the Saints beat the Steelers. There were some pretty incredible costumes in the Superdome!! The guiness book of world records was there and the saints fans shattered the current record for largest costumed Halloween gathering! Who dat nation knows how to party and we certainly were up for the challenge of hosting the worlds largest Halloween party!
Well guys tomorrow's the big day! Tonight we spent the last night of my twenties at our friends house. Jim and I are birthday twins so they got a cake for him and one for me too. How sweet was that?! I have, as I mentioned, been a little sad about turning thirty. But this weekend as my family helped move us into our very own home and tonight as we were surrounded by the warmth of friendship, I realized that I have so much to be thankful for. There's so many wonderful memories we've yet to make.
Here's to my twenties. To college graduation, to first real jobs, to engagements, to weddings, to Godbabies, to surviving a storm, to moving across the country, to making new friends, to keeping the old, to the US Navy, to winning a Superbowl, to greeting the Saints at the White House, to moving home, to the start of our new adventures...
Goodbye twenties. Hello thirties!
