Not at All Saints Day

Well, yesterday was simply not our day.  It's hard to win a game when you turn the ball over five times.  I applaud the Saints for hanging in there and coming about a minute and a half away from giving us one dramatic victory.

I think we're all stick in a bit of shock after the defeat.  Getting us through the close of this year is the faithful anthem "there's always next year."  And the thing is that next year our fair city will be hosting the NFL's biggest game.  I think we are primed to be the first team to host and play in a Superbowl.  Next year is certainly worth waiting for!!

Here's a few pics of the best little Saints fan in Who Dat Nation...

  1. Good afternoon from L.A.!

Oh, gosh we were holding our breath those final four minutes! Dressed in Saints gear, we were totally outnumbered yesterday, but we held on even in those final seconds. It was such a rough, shocking game it took us a while to get over it as well. My daughter even took a self-imposed time-out she was so upset! ut won't it be even sweeter to win the Superbowl in our own backyard next year? Yes m'am! Enjoy your sweet Sunday with your family and sweet baby Jane.

    Warmly,

    Elizabeth

  2. That's what I keep saying - we will just be the first team to play in a Superbowl at home! Yesterday was a sad, sad day.
