I just love Easter. I love that it feels like the official start of spring. I love wearing white again and seeing gentlemen in seersucker and bow ties. I love the tradition and sanctity of Stations of the Cross. I love celebrating what feels like a new beginning. I love pastels and Easter eggs and Sweettart bunnies. I love Easter lilies and Easter brunch and Easter baskets.
I'll be working a ton this weekend, but we plan to take a little break to join our friends for an Easter brunch.
How are you celebrating?
Such fabulous images!!! I'm actually working on my Spring dining room tablescape & am *loving* that centerpiece of tulips, nestled in a "nest" - too sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteWe'll be celebrating this weekend by doing some yard work {yea for the Hubs}, working on this year's potted herb garden and possibly some planters to flank the front door. If we're really lucky, we'll find the perfect pair of rocking chairs for the front porch of our new home :-) Sunday will be spent with lots of food & family, ha!
Happy Friday!
Beautiful pictures!!! The first picture is such a cute little idea!
ReplyDeleteI just visited New Orleans for the first time and I stumbled on your blog just now. I absolutely LOVED everything about NOLA. The atmosphere is just amazing! Come check out my blog when you get a chance! :)
I am flying to Chicago this afternoon to spend Easter weekend at my brother's! Can't wait. My youngest nephew turns 2 today so we are having a big Elmo party tomorrow (he's obsessed with Elmo!). Then Sunday we'll have Easter brunch. i also love Easter. I usually buy myself an Easter dress but this year I didn't. :( Which makes me kind of sad, but I am trying to be extra frugal right now.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Easter Brunch!!
Have a wonderful Easter Jen!
