Tropical Storm Lee Brought with It...

Lots and lots of rain...

High Winds

An O.C. marathon

And now temperatures in the low 70s

Mark and I ended a long weekend with a stroll through Audubon Park.  The sky was slightly gray and there was a breeze in the air and if I hadn't lived here all my life and suffered through some very hot late September evenings, I would have thought that fall was here.  I think it's just a little taste of what's to come!

  1. I am glad you didn't float away. A lot of friends in Jackson had issues with flooding. I am excited for our cool temps too but not going to get to excited because I know they aren't here to last yet.

  2. Sounds like the perfect, relaxing weekend to me.
PS: I think you are having a girl! Just a though plus with your great fashion sense I can imagine you not having a little lady! You are getting so close!!

  3. So glad you didn't flood. What a perfect weekend! Have a great night doll. Hope you can enter my giveaway!

  6. Glad you survived. And.....isn't the weather so lovely!? I am in, yeah. This is such a gift for us....fall can't get here soon enough!!!

  7. Happy to hear the storm wasn't too bad.

It's finally cooled down here. Mid 70s today and dry. Bright and sunny, too. I am ready for fall (not winter, though...LOL). :)

  8. Happy to hear you are safe! Fall is settling in nicely here in the NC Mountains!
