Krewe of Muses - Mardi Gras Madness Giveaway

UPDATE!!!! - If you are watching the Saints Superbowl parade on ESPNews or the NFL Network tonight, look for the Muses shoe float!!  Kicker Garret Hartley will be riding in our signature float!!!!
Hi bloggers!!!  The Krewe of Muses parade is only two days away!  Are you getting excited?  I happen to love when bloggers do giveaways, but I have just never really had anything I thought would be interesting to give away.  As I was taking one last look through my 2010 bead order form, I thought what if I could bring Mardi Gras, and specifically the Krewe of Muses, to you.  For one lucky winner, you will receive an assortment of Muses finest throws including our theme bead shoes, a high heel shoe bracelet, a matching high heel shoe necklace, a light up bottle opener bead, our 2010 theme bead (which is a strobe light-up bead this year), a pair of classic glass beads, and a Muses light-up diamond ring. Click here to see example of these fancy treasures... And what Muses package would be complete without a fabulous glittered shoe!!!!!  You'll get one of those too!!!  And for a little Lagniappe, I'll also add in a box of Mam Papaul's King Cake mix.  You'll be all set to throw your own parade after your package arrives!!!

You can enter to win by...

  4. WoW! I so wish I was home for Mardi Gras and to enjoy a meal of crawfish etouffee or smothered chicken with mashed potatoes at Madina's. I feel the pounds being added as I type this:). Not to mention a stop for dessert at Brocato's...have mercy! Enjoy your time at home and take care!

  8. As a native New Orleanian, I'm going to go out on a limb by saying...I really really enjoy a nice dinner at Vincent's on St. Charles...I know, I know Italian food, but who could resist the warm corn & crabmeat Bisque, the blue-cheese salad, and their house specialty Canneloni??? and throw in a bottle of wine, the bread sticks and butter...can I tell ya...Heaven...
On a totally different note...when I saw the kickers on the Muses pink signature float, I could not stop cracking up...hahhahhahahha!

  9. One of my favorite meals are the Fajita's at Country Flame, Central Grocery, and of course brunch at Bennan's. Born and raised in Louisiana, I'm now a military wife, but take advantage of every chance to get back to NOLA. Sorry about the rain, but it happens to help us. We'll get to see the Muses parade tomorrow night!

  10. I've lived in NOLA my entire life and can't narrow down what my favorite meal is ... but I've been on a NOLA Grocery kick lately. They have THE BEST poboys I have ever tasted. Seriously.

P.S. We got such a kick out of the fact that the Saints kickers were in the show float. How funny and perfect at the same time :) What side of the float were you on? I was watching the parade in Lee Circle, on the neutral ground side holding a sign that said "screw the coconuts, carnival is for SHOES." Love Muses!!
