Are you ready to ring in the new year??? I hope you toast to the year that was and the year that will be!
Here is a quick recipe for one of my favorite champagne cocktails...
Champagne Limoncello Cocktails
Yield: 8 servings (serving size: about 1/2 cup)
Ingredients
- 8 (3 x 1/2-inch) lemon rind strips
- 8 tablespoons Limoncello (lemon-flavored liqueur)
- 4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 (750-milliliter) bottle brut Champagne, chilled
Preparation
1. Roll up each strip of lemon rind; place 1 into each of 8 Champagne flutes. Add 1 tablespoon liqueur and 1/2 teaspoon juice to each glass. Divide Champagne evenly among glasses. Serve immediately.
How are you planning to celebrate 2011?
Love those photos! Hope y'all have a Happy New Year! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am so so so ready to say good bye to 2010. I am not sure how I will be spending it... I was planning to go to my aunt & uncle's for dinner and games, but they are forecasting freezing rain + snow so I might just go home and ring in the new year by watching movies... We'll see!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year to you & mark!
Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are ordering in pizza and watching movies and will more than likely be ringing in the new year either sleeping or will be up feeding a crying baby.
Enjoy the champagne for me!
Hope you had a great New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Girly! I have a random question for you. I will be going to New Orleans for my first time in a couple of weeks. I will be staying in a timeshare on bourbon street. I was wondering if you know any good restaurants or fun places to go to or attractions to see. I`ll be going with my grandparents and they have only ever eaten at chains so I would really like to visit some local chains. Thanks so much!
