Award Season: Part 2

I mentioned Friday that some lovely bloggers sent awards my way over the past few weeks.  I have been looking forward to sharing them with you!  I have loved every minute of getting to know so many amazing and talented people through the blogging community.  So here's to each and every one of you!!

The rules for the Going Places award are simple: (1) describe where I think I'll be in 10 years.  So here goes...

In ten years I will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of my 20th birthday.  You got that right - the big 4-0!  WOW!!!  That is just so hard for me to believe.  I still wake up some days and feel 25!

This really makes me think about how fast life goes by, and that ten years from now I would like to know more of the world than I know today. I'd like to have seen a lighthouse in Maine and to have tasted gelato on the streets of Rome.  I want to have watched the whales in Alaska and to have heard the sound of the Napa Valley Train horn. 

Ten years from now, I want to have found the right balance between work, family, and philanthropy. I would like to have perfected the art of juggling these three things so that each has a turn at the top, but none ever falls.

In ten years, I hope to have a sweet little nest where the sounds of giggles are common and love is the only language we speak. A place where we gather as family and friends to celebrate life's little moments as often as we celebrate life's milestones.

And I guess, in ten years, I hope most of all, I am happy and living every day to the fullest!
