Friday night, my friend Margaret is hosting Supper Club, and she has chosen a garden party theme. I couldn't be more excited. There's something so romantic about a garden party. I imagine little torches in the yard and twinkling lights in the trees and the glow of tea lights on the tables. Is there a more perfect occasion than this to sport this summer's hottest trend - florals? I can't imagine that there is!
I think this dress would be so flattering on, and that purple hue of the sash is just beautiful!
This dress has the perfect details - high neckline, ruffles at the sleeves, and a beautiful collar. It would make a great transition from summer to fall as well!
There's something so ladylike about this little number! The light pinks and dark pinks pair perfectly with the hints of green throughout. And that ruffled sleeve - swoon!
This is a sassy little dress with it's open back and studded neckline! I couldn't pull it off, but I'd love to be able to!
I think poppies are just so pretty and the shade of orange here quite literally "pops" against that neutral fabric.
\I think that if Betty Draper were hosting a garden party, this would be her dress. It has that sweet retro vibe to me!

The Vintage and the Poppy dress are just darling. I'd wear them anywhere and anytime-but maybe that's just me. Enjoy your garden party! There's no better place to find beautiful, lush gardens than at home in NOLA.

ReplyDeleteYou sold me on this Phosphorescent dress! I ordered it to wear for my wedding rehearsal next summer! My wedding colors are purple and green so I figured it was just perfect! Plus--it will be the PERFECT motivation for me to be in tip top shape for the wedding :) I'm posting pics of it all over the house so I can remind myself how cute I want to look in it! I figure it's the closest thing to being able to post my wedding dress! THANKS!!!!!!
