Hello, hello, bloggers!!!!!
I cannot tell you how excited I am that in just two weeks, I will be loading up Krewe of Muses Float #19 with all of my beads. This Saturday, we go to Beads by the Dozen to pick up all of the additional beads we've ordered. Our big package is actually loaded for us by the krewe, but at bead distribution, we get to have a sneak peak at all of our extra throws before the big day! In preparation, Mark went by Home Depot and picked up some small buckets for me so that we can drill them in my riding spot. This will give me some space to store our light up rings, and our light up high heel hair clips, and some rhinestone bracelets!!!
I thought I'd share some photos of our 2011 throws. There's a few that remain top secret because they'd reveal our theme for this year's parade. But as we get closer to our ride, I'll share our theme and the title of my float (which is absolutely hysterical!!!)!
Muses Light Up Rings...
Signature Float Light Up Hair Clips
Muses Rhinestone Leather Bracelets
Muses Insulated Lunch Box (Fits a Picnic or a Six Pack!)
Muses Princess Silly Bands
Krewe of Muses Shoe Bracelet
Muses Magnetic Dress Up Kit
Hasn't the krewe outdone itself!!!!
Oh my goodness! They've totally outdone themselves! I'm crushing mega hard on the magnetic dress up kit! I love muses! Always such fun catches and well, just fun in general.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon from Tokyo!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like your Krewe is coming together so nicely! I wish we were going to be home for the parades this year, but are happy enough that our friends sent Mardi Gras shirts for the children from Pippen Lane. They are precious!
Best of luck as you continue to get ready...
Warmly,
Elizabeth
PS-Have you gotten your free Mardi Gras app? It's too cute and so much fun!
Somehow I've missed the countdown going on. Can't wait to see all the pictures of your float. I remember as a 5 yr. old going to Mardi Gras when we lived in NO for awhile. My dad was in pilot training with Delta Airlines. I don't remember much about being 5, but I do remember sitting on my dad's shoulder at a parade yelling, "Throw me something!" I LOVED getting those beads. SO fun :)
ReplyDeleteYou are set! Rock on!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I've got to have the rhinestone bracelet and the lunch box!! What side are you on this year? We'll be watching for you!
