Dear Anonymous...

For those of you who have read my blog for some time now, I hope you would agree that I use this forum as an outlet to express myself.  I share with you the things I find pretty or yummy, the things I am excited about and the things that scare me, the things I like and the people and places I love.

I enjoy hearing from you and have made several new friends as a result of ongoing comments I've exchanged with readers.

In no way do I expect that everyone sees life as I do.  What fun would life be if we were all the same?  And those that know me personally, as one reader recently commented in an unpublished statement, know that I am all for engaging in an informative dialogue or a heated debate.

But if you are going to comment on here, especially if that comment deserves a response, freaking OWN IT!  Put your name and picture on it.  I do.

For those of you who this does not apply to, I deeply apologize that you even had to bother reading it.

  1. OK I love your blog and I'm so excited for you and the hubby and baby girl is GORGEOUS!!!! I have to read from reader at work so I don't get to comment as often anymore.
You can set your comment settings to not allow anonymous comments, if this is something you want to do.
Sending hugs!!! Hope you are having a fantastic weekend!!!

  2. Oh no - did you get a mean comment? That is awful. :( You are such a classy, tactful blogger whom I think of as being level headed and having an open mind. It bothers me to know someone was rude to you on your blog - especially under the guise of anonymous as that is just cowardly.

  3. I'm so sorry this happened! Keep your chin up. Some just want to get a rise out of you. Focus on real life with your sweet baby girl. : )

  4. Oh I've had a few anonymous comments lately too and they haven't been kind. It's childish, hurtful, and frustarting. I suspect I know my anonymous person in real life though.

  5. Why people waste the time to leave mean comments is beyond me. I guess we just have to tell ourselves
"Bless their heart" that kindness can be found.
I love your blog and hopefully this will be end of the blogger bully.

  6. You know I have no idea how I found your blog, but I have been silently following for a while now. When you wrote that post about going back to work I really wanted to write an applaud you for your honesty and strength. You are a great writer, and I really enjoy your blog. This post gives me the perfect opportunity to tell you so. I'm sorry that you got a mean comment, but I thought I would send you a nice one from an "anonymous" person who is on your side.
