Friday's Favorite Pins

I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds myself spending more time than I care to admit on Pinterest.  I love creating new boards and adding to those that I have already started.  It's so nice to have a place to store all of my favorite internet images.

I thought it would be fun each week to share my five favorite pins from the week that was.  Here goes...

My sister is getting married in November, and we have been planning away!  I've been scouring the interwebs for wedding ideas.  This cake is one of my very favorite things I've seen in a long time.  I love the color of the fondant!  It could be your something blue!!

This summer, we are planning to seek the advice of a decorator to help us make our house a home.  I have found some inspiration from this room.  We have very tall ceilings like those featured here, and I love how they have highlighted that with the darker gray shade on the ceiling.

I am always looking for centerpiece ideas that I can create myself.  I think these vases filled with baby's breath and topped with a floating votive are ethereal and charming.  They're also something I could do easily.  Eliminating stress (like flower arranging causes me) when you're playing hostess always makes for a better event!

Aren't recipes that use Pillsbury crescent rolls the best?!  They are always easy to make and super tasty.  This recipe stole my heart.  I have fond memories of going to Poncho's as a kid and raising the flag to notify the waiter that we needed more sopapillas.   Mmmm... Cinnamon, sugar, cream cheese, and puff pastry - delish!

For now, I can count the number of hairs on Jane's head.  However, seeing how fast she is growing, I have know doubt that sooner than we think, we'll be getting her her first haircut.  I love the bob on this little angel.  It's stylish but still childlike.  And paired with those headbands - adorable!

I thought it would be fun for everyone to play along.  I love finding new friends on Pinterest!!

  7. I used the Sopapilla Cheesecake recipe for a Super Bowl party we went to and they tore it up. It was absolutely delicious and so easy to make. I only had one block of cream cheese and it still tasted delicious. My husband enjoyed it so much that he told me to make it more often. Thanks!!!
