The Gangs All Here

Hello Bloggers!!

I am excited to annouce that our Superbowl weekend guests Matt and Jaime have arrived in Beaufort!!!  When we realized we couldn't make it down to Miami, and neither of us could justify time off of work to travel to NOLA to watch the game from my parent's couch (although that's where my heart is), we decided we needed to have our nearest and dearest here with us.  Matt and Jaime are the world's biggest St. Louis Cardinals fans, and they know what it is like to watch your home team compete for a championship.  And win one too!!!  I think they will be just the luck we need.  We haven't seen them since last November when they surprised us by coming into town for Mark's Wetting Down (military promotion party).  It is a much overdo reunion, and one that couldn't take place on any better a weekend.  Between the Valentine's Ball and the Superbowl I foresee only good times ahead!

I seriously have imagined what it would be like to have the Saints in the Superbowl my entire life.  I will admit, I did not imagine watching the game on our couch in SC.  I figured we'd either be celebrating in New Orleans or at the game.  And while for a day or two I was kind of in the dumps about not being either place, I am now so completely excited to be celebrating here with our bevy of newly christened members of the Who Dat Nation.  If I don't stop writing, I'll start to cry.  I swear I don't know that I'll make it tomorrow!!!
