They Said it Best

This has truly been the longest week of my life.  Will Supersaints Sunday ever get here?!?!?!  By the end of the evening tonight our house will look like a black and gold palace and will smell like roux and sauted andouille sausage.  Is there anything better than that?

I LOVE reading food blogs and, as you can imagine, I love reading New Orleans blogs.  Combine the two and I'm in heaven.  That's what the amazing folks over at Blackened Out have managed to do each and every day!  I love reading their blog and its heartfelt tribute to all things NOLA and culinary.  Today they have captured the essensce of being a New Orleans Saints fan during as they put it "These Strange and Beautiful Days."

Black and Gold in the Superbowl.  I seriously don't know how I will contain myself these next two days.  Just reading Saints and the Superbowl together makes me cry.  I'm not kidding either!  I'm a blubbering fool!
